Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This professional will play a key role in the financial management of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, accuracy of financial records, and support for growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and review the monthly closing of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement with the external team.
Stay updated on relevant accounting and tax regulations for the technology sector, both in Brazil and the United States.
Ensure the company is in compliance with all legal and tax requirements.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies, minimizing the company's tax burden.
Analyze financial trends and present detailed reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor and optimize operational costs, identifying efficiency opportunities.
Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Active CRC.
Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
Experience in a startup with operations in the USA.
Expertise in Direct Taxes and financial statement closure.
Experience in financial reconciliation, analysis of balance sheet accounts, and Income Statement (DRE).
Desirable experience in internalizing accounting processes.
Experience in medium-sized companies. (Experience in a Big 4 firm will be an advantage)
Excellent communication skills.
Advanced English communication skills (B2 level or above).
