Summary
As a Technical Writer to join Latitude.sh, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving our platform documentation. Your work will directly impact developer experience, customer adoption, and support efficiency.
In this role, you will be the go-to person for all platform and API documentation matters, always focusing on accuracy, clarity, and technical depth.
Key Responsabilities
- Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation about our Platform and API
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences, including developers, end-users, and platform administrators
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing to create best-in-class technical guides that align with our product roadmap and developer needs
- Champion developer experience best practices, staying current on the newest trends and technologies to keep our docs relevant and comprehensive
- Work closely with the development team, participating in weekly meetings and technical discussions to stay aligned with the development progress and upcoming releases
- Establish and enforce technical content standards, maintaining a clear and consistent voice across all pages and formats
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS platforms;
- Experience with documentation for platforms, APIs, software development kits (SDKs), and technical systems;
- Familiarity with diagramming tools and visual documentation techniques for products and processes;
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure as a service, networking technologies, and bare metal servers
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Markdown, HTML, and technical documentation systems is a plus.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and documentation-as-code approaches is preferred
