Founded in 2021, LayerZero’s mission is to create a community of cross-chain developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that are no longer limited by individual blockchain capabilities. With LayerZero’s simple and generic messaging protocol, developers can build cross-chain applications that unify the benefits of different blockchains.

APPLICATION PROCESS

As part of your application, please submit a report, no longer than two pages, with size 11 font and 1.15 spacing, on any topic related to LayerZero. You can write about the protocol itself, its impact on crypto now or in the future, the future of interoperability, LayerZero's market position, or how it could improve. Focus on the idea, argument, or analysis you find most compelling. Please submit under the "Cover Letter" portion of the application.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for the best researchers in crypto to join the LayerZero team. In this role, you'll be key in shaping and sharing LayerZero’s story, whether through short-form content, long-form analysis, or thesis- and data-driven insights. We're seeking exceptional individuals who excel in writing, data analysis, and delivering insights to our team and the broader crypto community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Market Research: Conduct research on interoperability, including general message passing, intents, and chain abstraction.
• Ecosystem Spotlights: Develop case studies explaining how various protocols use LayerZero.
• Education: Educate the target audience on new product launches.
• Analysis: Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Social: Create content and manage social media channels.
