About the team

We started as a humble team of 2 ambitious creatives and have grown to a team of 25+ people from all over the world. By applying first principle thinking and being output-driven, we've been able to solve a variety of challenges and stay ahead of the curve in the fast-changing games industry. About the role

As a Finance Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and in building and optimizing finance operations, collaborating closely with the senior management, reporting directly to the CEO and Group Finance. The role combines the exciting challenge of establishing a robust finance operation while conducting accounting, financial planning and analysis to support a fast-moving international group.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the monthly and yearly financial reporting pack and management accounts for the Dutch and Gibraltarian entities.
• Responsible for bookkeeping.
• Manage payments, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage liquidity, including cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct budget and forecast processes.
• Coordinate with Group, review and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
• Review monthly payroll and social security calculations.
• Ensure full local taxation compliance.
• Manage annual audits for the Dutch and Gibraltarian entities.
• Manage external relationships, such as banks, external accountants, auditors.
• Collaborate with Group Accounting Team on various finance projects.

Requirements - Must have

• Relevant experience in international accounting and finance
• Dutch tax legislation and statutory reporting knowledge
• Knowledge of IFRS is desirable, but not a requirement
• Service minded, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and fluent in English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Able to work closely in a diverse team, but also independently, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organization.
• Relevant accounting experience from web3 and/or crypto is highly desirable, but not a requirement
