Snowflake’s APJ’s Product Marketing and Evangelism team is a dream role for individuals who love the world of AI and Data, want to lead change that makes a real impact and work in a company that has the coolest technology out there – Snowflake!

You will not only be our lead advocate for the AI Data cloud using your technical experience but also execute go-to-market plans in close collaboration with our colleagues in Field Marketing. We’re looking for a highly talented, driven, and self-motivated data professional who can lead Snowflake’s Product Marketing efforts and influence the industry. The Product Marketing and Evangelist role will work across our Snowflake sales, product, and marketing teams, as well as our partner ecosystem, to develop go-to-market plans and solutions that drive better customer outcomes in-region.

Over 10,000 customers have deployed Snowflake to modernize how they access their data, enable rapid analytics, and derive data-driven insights for their business users. In this role you will help drive the next wave of adoption with AI based technology.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the Snowflake PMM and Evangelism efforts in the Japan market

  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy and innovative programs that position Snowflake for success

  • Evangelize The AI Data Cloud in with speaking sessions, social media engagement, videos, and interactions in our community across end-users, partners, media, analyst and more

  • Create messaging, content assets, and sales enablement assets to be used by Snowflake marketing and sales teams, as well as partner teams

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with demand generation, content marketing, sales, product management, and other teams across the world to build alignment around go-to-market plans

  • Manage and lead end-to-end product launch process for Japan, which includes internal/external briefing as spokesperson, enablement (contents, deck), orchestrating enablement sessions, aligning marketing/PR for launch events/campaigns, etc.

  • Develop market/competitive intelligence, acting as our thought leader and expert

  • As a Snowflake employee, you will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 7+ years of proven technology, product and market experience related to data management and ML/AI experience

  • Cross-functional team management and organizational skills, influence without authority, including senior management

  • Excellent communication skills, and can engage internal leaders/teams across functions, external stakeholders, public speaking and presentation

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise presentations and plans

  • Demonstrated track record of complex data solutioning and architectural leadership

  • Analytical mindset, interpreting and summarizing data with actionable insights

  • Technical- and business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging data technologies, on-premises and in the cloud

  • Experience with database products essential

  • BS/BA preferred or equivalent experience
