About the Team:
The TechOps team engages with all members of Sui Foundation to support initiatives and improve process. The team is responsible for may different systems like Okta, Google and MDM. You’ll lead planning, implementation and management of existing and new systems to support the many functions within the organization.
About the Role:
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build things from the ground up and own process creation. You’ll work closely with our team at Mysten Labs and have the chance to define SOPs, vendors and IT strategy.
This role will be hybrid out of our Athens office.
Projects you’d complete in the first 30-90 days
Compile a list of applications across the organization, analyze their configurations, enhance security measures to prevent data loss, and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
Cultivate relationships with HR, Recruiting, and other key stakeholders to optimize and simplify the onboarding and offboarding processes for both employees and contractors.
Oversee and coordinate the IT infrastructure development for our new office in Greece.
Responsibilities:
This role will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core interpersonal function
Deliver a first-class, white-glove customer service experience for everyone who interacts with or within the technical systems of the firm
Troubleshoot and resolve tier 2 IT requests across the entire organization up to and including our Founders
Craft, deploy, and monitor new applications and security systems while also making improvements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
Manage on/offboarding process of employees
Configure, maintain, troubleshoot & repair all office computers, equipment & peripherals (with an emphasis on Apple products)
Implement security standard methodologies across all systems and make recommendations for constant improvement to the firm's IT & cybersecurity posture
Support employees across multiple timezones. Our offices span the US, EU & Asia.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a wide breadth of knowledge across a variety of technical disciplines such as networking, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, SaaS applications, endpoint management, etc
4+ years experience in systems, networking, or security administration in client-facing IT Help Desk role with demonstrated track record of managing SAAS tooling and configuring it for scale
Ability to work effectively within the most senior levels of the organization with know-how to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors (new systems implementations, new office build-outs, etc)
Strong general troubleshooting skills to diagnose, identify, and resolve technical issues across MacOS, Linux, and Windows
Nice to Haves:
Understanding and interest in cyber security topics to help protect our infrastructure
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
Experience with automation tools like Zapier, Tines, Retool, etc.
