Job Overview

We are looking for an organized and proactive Community Activation Coordinator to plan, execute, and manage a variety of community-driven events for our North America Community team at Sui. You will play a key role in building meaningful connections across our community, creating high-impact experiences both virtually and in person. You’ll be responsible for coordinating events that support the growth of our web3 community, driving engagement, and fostering relationships with developers, gaming enthusiasts, and web3 adopters.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Execute Events: Lead the organization of virtual and in-person community events including meetups, hackathons, webinars, and conferences.

• Scaled Program Implementation: You will help us develop and execute strategies supporting our national event footprint.

• Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics such as venue booking, scheduling, vendor management, and technology needs.

• Community Engagement: Collaborate with community leads to engage participants before, during, and after events via social media, forums, and newsletters.

• Promotion: Develop and execute event marketing strategies to ensure maximum visibility and attendance, including outreach on social platforms, email campaigns, and partnerships.

• Post-Event Analysis: Collect feedback from attendees, provide post-event analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Partnership Development: Collaborate with international cross-functional partners as well as industry partners, influencers, and other stakeholders to enhance event success and broaden community reach.

• Budget Management: Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution without sacrificing quality.

• Ambassador Program Support: Assist in identifying and supporting community ambassadors through events and related programming.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in event planning, community management, or related fields, with a focus on tech, web3, gaming, or related industries.

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

• Social Media: Experience in utilizing social media platforms to drive event engagement and community building.

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using event management platforms and collaboration tools (Google Hangouts, Luma, Slack, etc.).

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners.

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel for in-person events and work across time zones when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in web3, blockchain, or gaming communities.

• Previous experience organizing grassroots or ambassador-driven events.

• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges.
