Team Description:

The Global People team is seeking an Operations & HR Manager to oversee general operations, HR admin tasks and office management responsibilities based in our new Athens office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to streamlining operations across back office and day-to-day office functions including HR operations.

The Role:

Reporting to the Global Head of HR, the Operations & HR Manager will handle advanced operational, administrative and HR tasks, accounting and invoicing, event coordination, onboarding and offboarding processes, and support recruitment management. A key aspect of the role is managing the day-to-day operations of our new office and innovation hub - SuiHub located in the center of Athens. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee operations and ensure efficient office management at the Athens office.

  • Manage and own end-to-end administrative tasks, including accounting, invoicing and supplier management.

  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in HR databases and systems.

  • Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and compensation structures, ensuring timely updates and compliance with regulations.

  • Take proactive initiatives on streamlining processes aiming on scale and efficiency.

  • Coordinate events and manage logistics for successful execution.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.

  • Lead recruitment scheduling and manage related administrative responsibilities to streamline hiring efforts and improve candidate experience.

  • Proven experience in operations management, HR, office management or a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Energy, enthusiasm and critical thinking to do things better.

  • Self motivated & proactive.

Nice to Haves:

  • HR Operations Internal Experience: Previous experience in HR operations within a global organization, particularly with a focus on implementing HR policies and processes.

  • Cultural Awareness: Experience working in diverse teams or international settings, helping to foster an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Experience in working in high paced tech companies is nice to have.

  • Event Planning Experience: A background in planning and executing large-scale events or team-building activities could be advantageous.

  • Networking Skills: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with local vendors, service providers, and community organizations.
