Zellic is hiring DevOps Engineers. We’re looking for individuals with exceptional talent in DevOps and/or Software Engineering.
About Us
Zellic is a security research and consulting firm. We serve large, well-known blockchain clients like LayerZero, the Solana Foundation, Aptos Labs, and the Interchain Foundation.
Unlike many startups, we are consistently profitable with over 30 employees. We believe in slow and steady progress over unsustainable hypergrowth.
We're Looking For:
As a DevOps Engineer at Zellic, you will collaborate closely with our clients to operate blockchain validator infrastructure securely and reliably. We’re looking for seasoned DevOps professionals that get things done.
Qualifications
Background in DevOps and Linux systems administration
Experience with IaaC tools (ex. Terraform, CDK)
Experience deploying distributed applications to multiple servers using orchestration tools (ex. Kubernetes, Nomad)
Experience operating and monitoring distributed systems
Strong English communication skills
Responsibilities
Develop and manage greenfield deployment of blockchain node and validator infrastructure
Keep up to date and communicate with our business partners
Stay on top of updates to node software
Debug and solve performance issues on your own
Operate, debug, and profile Go applications with high availability
Monitor applications with observability tools
Develop security practices and key management protocols
Other nice-to-haves
Knowledge of key management schemes
Hardware Security Modules / Secure Enclaves
MPC Signing
Experience debugging and profiling Go applications in production
Familiarity with underlying technologies of Web3
P2P Networks
Protobuf
Node software, such as Geth or Cosmos SDK
Background in cryptography or reverse engineering
A healthy dose of skepticism and the ability to think independently and critically
Interest in finance or blockchain/web3 technology is welcome, but not required
